Underwater, engineering project

For 3 months (February-April 2023), 21 second-year civil engineering students designed and developed two underwater robots intended to take underwater shots at a depth of 300 meters. The project was carried out in partnership with the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB) and the Cap Corse Marine Park and Agriate. The ambition is to produce maps in order to monitor the evolution of seabeds in the face of the consequences of anthropogenic pollution and climate change. The robots were entirely designed within a Fablab created by the CRC in 2022. The students were supervised by Sébastien Travadel, Franck Guarnieri, Samuel Olampi and Luca Istrate.
