Clément Iphar, who obtained his PhD at CRC in 2017, is currently in post-doctoral stay at CRC from February 6th to April 7th, 2023. As part of a Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship, Clément Iphar is undertaking a post-doctoral fellowship at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO) in collaboration with the CRC, under the supervision of Iwan Le Berre (UBO), Eric Foulquier (UBO) and Aldo Napoli (CRC). His work focuses on the characterization of shipping and its impact in the Caribbean area. His work is funded by the European Union and the Brittany region. The purpose of his post-doc is to enhance knowledge of maritime traffic, including the notion of port call, useful to local maritime space planning actors in the Caribbean.
As part of his scientific stay at CRC, Clément Iphar is developing a first prototype of a geovisualization system to display and analyze meaningful indicators of maritime traffic in the area.
